Glowing Orange is the summery expression of my favorite carrot/apple juice. I love carrot/apple juice but watermelons are in season and are begging to be juiced! How can I resist?!! The addition of watermelon adds a sultry mellow flavour which I like to liven up with a little bit of lemon, resulting in a fabulous Glowing Orange juice.
Ripe watermelons are one of the best sources of the phytonutrient and antioxidant lycopene. Watermelon contains even more lycopene than tomatoes. Lycopene protects your cells from damage and prevents inflammation. Also, this juice is oozing with vitamin A, which improves the health of your skin and hair.
Your whole body will cheerfully soak up the benefits of Glowing Orange juice and help you shine from your insides to your outsides.
RECIPE FOR ONE SERVING:
Wash the carrots and apples well and leave the skins on. Slice away the peels from the watermelon and lemon. Slice everything so it fits in your juicer and juice away. If using flax seed oil, stir the flax seed oil directly into the juice.
